We've secured a partnership with Fundación Ambiental Manos Extendidas as the first local NGO in the Dominican Republic that we will be working on a few initiatives within the Environmental & Community Development intersection.

We're proud of this partnership as they have a track record going back 17 years of Ecological Impact and have 12+ branches distributed across the country.

Not only that, but we're working on our Q2 & Q3 action plans & doing an internal assessment of the past impact data, and operations of the organization to make informed decisions about the 2025 roadmap with Q4 reserved for Measurement, Reporting, and Verification to craft an impact report ahead of 2026.

We have scoped a list of eligible organizations that align with our immediate goals and resources. In the coming weeks, we will disclose the first 3 local organizations once we iron out the final details of our collaboration and initiatives to be executed among organizations.

We've also been working on our Public Goods Funding Flywheel and have made significant progress toward the ossification of our flywheel at every step of the process.

TLDR

This timeline of events doesn't include individual milestones that we will be setting up for every grant program or public good funding we receive. This is a timeline of events on a high level about what we have been up to since our launch announcement in February 2024.

Also, this is not an update about our MVP Roadmap, we will provide a compelling update on where we are, which chain will be used to deploy the first iteration of our thesis to leverage the Kokonut Framework and create purpose-based assets that fund public good in perpetuity, and more very soon.

Timeline

1. Feb 20, 2024: We launched our Executive Summary for the Glo x Arbitrum QF Round, about our thesis of building intents-based natural assets to fund Public Goods by leveraging the Kokonut Framework including a workflow diagram outlining the flow of value.
2. March 14, 2024: We completed our brand organization design and released our official logo.
3. March 17, 2024: Kokonut Foundation joins Giveth as a verified public good organization.
4. April 12, 2024: We received our first partnership proposal from a European NGO to develop and execute our first educational program; a permaculture school for youth to learn the skills they need to protect the environment while making a living.
5. April 14, 2024: We completed the selection of the OSS Software that will serve as the initial Tool Stack for the Foundation to conduct surveys, image galleries, RSS Feeds to distribute data, and Memberships for donors interested in working closely with us.
6. April 17, 2024: We bought the kokonutfoundation.eth ENS Domain for 10 years to establish the Foundation web3 presence.
7. May 5, 2024: Kokonut Foundation joins the Giveth Galactic Giving Round, this round sends us to new heights thanks to the Giving Growth Hacking powered by $REGEN Campaign.
8. June 6, 2024: Kokonut Foundation's name and social activity was officially registered with the Dominican Republic Copyrights Agency ONAPI.
